Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect on onedollarshopper.com and why. It also explains who we share it with and the choices you have.
Who we are
One Dollar Shopper is run by KUDI CORPORATION LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Houston, Texas, USA. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean One Dollar Shopper and KUDI CORPORATION LLC. For any privacy question, email orders@onedollarshopper.com.
What we collect and why
When you place an order
Your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, email address, the items you buy and any order notes. We use this to take payment, ship your order, send order updates, handle returns and refunds, and keep tax and accounting records.
When you pay
Stripe processes card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link payments. If you choose Link, Stripe saves your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only limited details, such as the card brand and the last 4 digits.
When you create an account
Your name, email address and password, plus your saved addresses, order history and wishlist. Your password is stored encrypted. We use this so you can sign in, check out faster and see your orders.
When you contact us or join our newsletter
Our contact forms and the newsletter sign-up in the footer collect what you type, such as your name, email address and message. We use it to answer you, or to send the newsletter you asked for.
When you sell with us
If you open a shop, we collect your name, email address, phone number, store address and shop details. We also collect payout details: a PayPal email address or bank details. We use this to review and run your shop and to pay you. Sellers also agree to our Seller Terms.
When you browse
Like most websites, our servers may record basic technical details, such as your IP address and browser type. This helps keep the site working and secure. We also use a few cookies, listed below.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe, to process your payment.
- Canada Post, and the courier services we use for US orders, to deliver your parcel. They receive your name, address, phone number and email address. US shipments also include customs information about what is in the parcel.
- Our web host, whose servers in the United States run our website and store its data.
- Our email providers, to send order emails, account emails and the newsletter, and to receive your messages.
- Payment providers that send seller payouts, if you sell with us.
Independent sellers on our site don’t receive your contact details or address, because we ship every order ourselves.
We may also share information when the law requires it, for example to answer a valid legal request, or to prevent fraud.
Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. We use cookies and similar browser storage only to make the store work:
- Cart and session: remembers what is in your cart while you shop.
- Login: keeps you signed in to your account.
- Currency: remembers whether you chose to see prices in US or Canadian dollars.
- Wishlist: remembers the items you saved.
- Security check: helps block automated bots.
- Accessibility tool: remembers the display preferences you choose.
Our server also keeps cached copies of pages so they load faster. We don’t use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, your cart, login and currency choice may not work.
How we protect it
Stripe handles card details, so we never see or store full card numbers. Passwords are stored encrypted, and a security check helps block automated bots. No website can be fully secure, so please use a strong password and keep it to yourself.
How long we keep it
- Orders and payments: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Your account: until the account is deleted.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Everything else, such as messages you send us: only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal information we hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop sending you marketing emails
To make a request, email orders@onedollarshopper.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We must keep some records, such as past orders, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. This applies even if you ask us to delete your information.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you other privacy rights. You can use them the same way, by emailing us. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you may be able to complain to the privacy regulator where you live.
Children
Our store is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. You must be 18 or older to create an account or buy from us, or have a parent’s permission. If you think a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us so we can delete it.
Where your information is stored
We are based in the United States and ship from Canada. Our web host’s servers are in the United States. Your information may be stored and processed in the United States and Canada, and our service providers may process it in other countries. The laws there may differ from the laws where you live. Courts, police or government agencies in those countries may be able to access your information under their laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our store or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
